Shadows Depression Support Group
Shadows Depression Support group commenced on 16th January 2017 to help and support anyone experiencing Mental Health Difficulties. If you are supporting someone with Mental Health Difficulties and you are over the age of 18 years, we can help. We also offer family support for under 18 years accompanied by a parent or guardian. You are welcome to contact us at anytime. Shadows is a confidential, friendly, supportive setting, where great support friendships are made.
We have excellent communications with the Local GP surgeries, Job Centre and Police who regularly visit Shadows and also refer people to the service.
Shadows offer practical, compassionate and accessible support to help people stay well, feel connected and build resilience. Our service is resourceful, community-rooted and designed for real life support that meets you where you are, without judgement and without barriers.
We focus on prevention, early help and creating safe spaces. Whether someone needs a listening ear, tools to manage everyday stress, or a supportive group, Shadows is here to make wellbeing easier to reach.
