Shadows Depression Support Group
Shadows Depression Support group commenced on 16th January 2017. Anyone experiencing Mental Health Difficulties or if you are supporting someone with Mental Health Difficulties and you are over the age of 16 yrs, you are welcome to contact us at anytime. Shadows is a confidential, friendly, supportive setting, where great support friendships are made.
We have lots of helpful information available every week for your perusal.
We have excellent communications with the Local GP surgeries, Job Centre and Police who regularly visit Shadows and also refer people to the service.
The Support service we provide at Shadows Depression Support Group is very resourceful and we hopefully are helping prevent the stigmas surrounding Mental Health difficulties and to raise more awareness of what support is available in the local community.
Shadows Depression Support Group is run by Louise and Jennifer who organises the groups etc and supports all service users. Shadows now have their our own Social Media Administrator/ Promoter , this is run by Louise's daughter Sam.
Shadows is very unique in what services it provides to help and support the community.
